Personal Data
General
Personal data is any kind of information that can, to some extent, be attributed to you. When you use my website, I collect and process a number of such items of information, but this occurs only if you sign up to my newsletter, participate in competitions or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, make use of other services, or make a purchase via the website.
To the extent that you yourself give explicit consent and enter the information personally, the following data is also processed: name, telephone number, email address, postal address, and payment details. This will typically occur in connection with the creation of a login account or when making a purchase.
Comments
When visitors post comments on the website, I collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string, in order to assist with spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. Following approval of your comment, your profile picture will be visible to the public alongside your comment.
Media
All images uploaded to the website are stripped of embedded location data (EXIF GPS). This means that visitors to the website cannot download and extract location data from images on the website.
Contact Forms
When visitors use the contact form on the website, their name, email address, and the message entered are collected. The data entered — filtered for sensitive personal data — is sent as notifications by email to the website owner and the visitor who completed the form. The entries are permanently deleted after 30 days and are not used for marketing purposes unless consent is given for this.
Security
I have implemented technical and organisational measures to protect your information against accidental or unlawful deletion, disclosure, loss, degradation, or unauthorised access, misuse, or other processing contrary to applicable legislation.
Purpose
The information is used to deliver the services you have requested — including responding to enquiries, sending newsletters, and administering client relationships. In addition, I use the information to improve my services and content.
Retention Period
Information is retained for the period permitted under applicable legislation, and I delete it when it is no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the grounds for retaining it. It is therefore not possible to state a general timeframe for when information is deleted.
Disclosure of Information
Data about your use of the website, which advertisements you receive and may click on, geographical location, gender and age segment, etc., is not disclosed to third parties.
I use Fathom Analytics for website analytics, which does not use cookies and is compliant with GDPR, ePrivacy (including PECR), COPPA, and CCPA.
When you play a video, information is sent to Vimeo or YouTube. When you sign up to the newsletter, your data is processed by a third party but is not disclosed. I manage and send newsletters via Kit.
You can see which third parties are involved in my cookie policy.
I also use a number of third parties for the storage and processing of data. These parties process information solely on my behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Where Webfronten ApS acts as a data processor on behalf of clients, the processing of personal data is governed by our Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
Disclosure of personal data such as name and email address will only take place if you give your consent. I use only data processors located in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with an adequate level of protection.
Your Rights
As a client of Webfronten, I process your information as part of an agreement. This gives you the following fundamental rights:
- Access and rectification: You may contact me to request access to the personal data I process about you, and to request that it be corrected if it is inaccurate. You may also at any time object to the use of your information.
- Erasure: As a client, you may request that data held about you be deleted. I am only able to delete data that is not necessary for the maintenance of the agreement, and data that I am not required to process under applicable legislation.
- Data portability: You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to me in a machine-readable format.
How to contact me
If you wish to exercise your rights under the GDPR — such as requesting access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data — or if you have questions about our processing of your personal data, you are welcome to contact me. Submit a data access request →
Complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency
If you believe that we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). You can contact Datatilsynet at www.datatilsynet.dk.
